New Content Revealed for Halo 5

During The Game Awards tonight, new content was revealed for Halo 5: Guardians.

According to a post on Xbox Wire, a free update called The Cartographer's Gift will add "the biggest and most improved Forge mode ever."

Additional content that will come with The Cartographer's Gift includes a new Warzone map called Battle of Noctus, a new Arena map called Overgrowth, and new Big Team Battle maps, Antifreeze and Burial Mounds. The update will also add "more than 30 new REQs for armors, weapons, emblems and more."

As an example of one of those new weapons, a trailer at The Game Awards featured the classic SPNKr rocket launcher.

343 teased that "much more Halo" content is coming in 2016 and beyond.
